"It was very hard to extract from your information exactly what to pay for the apartment. When I look at my credit card account you have charged me for 2 amounts: 3753,66 USD + 81,66 USD. Actually I do not understand neither of them, especially not the sum of 81,66 USD. Can you please explain to me? Or is it just another trick you have to suck money out of foreign tourists? Until you have explained this will not recommend the apartment/Urban Living"

"L'appartement est très bien situé. Quartier calme, pas de bruit extérieur. Métro à plusieurs blocs. Appartement bien équipé, idéal pour trois personnes. Literie moyenne. Cuisine minuscule, qui convient pour un court séjour (nous avons plus fait "la dînette" que la cuisine). Les trois étages (pas d'ascenseur) sont difficiles en fin de journée ! L'accueil a été un peu trop rapide cependant. Nous aurions apprécié davantage d'informations sur le quartier (resto, alimentation par exemple). Point très positif : la possibilité de rendre les clés de l'appartement en milieu d'après-midi, le jour du départ (cela évite de passer une journée avec les bagages, surtout lorsque le vol de retour vers la France a lieu en fin de journée)."

"bonne relation. avons regretté l'attente supplémentaire d'une heure avant d'obtenir les bonnes clés il nous manquait une serviette et des draps pour le 5e couchage sur canapé qui devaient nous être apportés le soir même. Ne voyant rien arriver, nous avons téléphoné vers 21 h, pas de permanence téléphonique, et nous n'avons jamais eu de nouvelles, malgré le message laissé sur répondeur."

"Buono, l'unico problema è stato quello di non avvisarci dell'entrata in vigore dal 1 maggio 2011 della Legge sugli affitti a New York per brevi periodi, abbiamo rischiato di non prendere l'appartamento anche se avevamo già pagato la caparra."

"This is more about the service provided by the agency in general. We booked the flat very much in advance. I felt rather uncertain during the booking procedure due to the fact that the price had to be paid full in advance and the amount was higher than originally indicated on the website (both were the requests of the owner as I learned). There were conflicting and somewhat dubious informations on the different (and there were many of them!) papers I had to sign and the transfer of the money could have been also more simple. For example the number of bed rooms and the fdetails of the internet access. I still believe that the agency's fee (which is indexed to the rental fee, why?) is far too high for this complicated service which is unusually demanding for the tenant and according to the contract does not provide rights or written guaranties. And at the end a positive remark; the contact person was always helpful and responded quickly to my anxious emails. Therefore, in spite of the problems described above, I will recommend the Urban Living to my colleagues who want to visit NY. "

"L'agence étant française, le contact est d'autant plus facile et évite les malentendus quand on doit communiquer avec une langue étrangère. Excellente réactivité: au moindre problème on a une réponse immédiate. L'an dernier nous devions aller à New York et j'avais avancé les 700 dollars de frais d'agence. Pour cause de volcan nous avons été obligés d'annuler le voyage. Le billet d'avion nous a été intégralement remboursé par Ibéria. L'agence nous a dit qu'elle ne remboursait pas mais que si nous revenions à New York cet argent nous restait acquis. Nous sommes revenus et effectivement nous n'avons rien eu à payer sauf que la commission d'agence était cette fois de 500 dollars au lieu de 700. J'attends toujours les 200 dollars versés en trop."
