This apartment is located in a modern walk up building on Herkimer street between Nostrand and New York Avenue in Brooklyn Bedford-Stuyvesant.

About 1000 sq ft, this 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment is on the third floor of the building. The entrance door opens up into the living room. This windowed living room has wooden floors, a sofa , a coffee table, an armchair and a cable TV. The living room is to share.

On your right, the fully furnished kitchen is equipped with a stove, an oven, a sink, a refrigerator with a freezing compartment and cookware. The kitchen is to share.

The bedroom is upstairs totally independant from the rest of the apartment. It has wooden floors, two windows, a walk-in closet, a desk, a quen size bed and a screen flat TV.

The private bathroom features a shower, a tub and a vanity.

Transportation: The A and C trains stop at the corner of Fulton and Nostrand Avenue which is about two minutes walk from the apartment.

Neighborhood: Bedford-Stuyvesant (also known as Bed-Stuy) is a neighborhood in the central portion of the borough of Brooklyn.
Bed-Stuy is bordered by Flushing Avenue to the north (bordering Williamsburg); Bedford Avenue to the west (bordering Clinton Hill, although, prior to the 1980s, the area now called Clinton Hill was considered to be Bedford-Stuyvesant as well); Broadway and Van Sinderen Avenue to the east (bordering Bushwick and East New York); Park Place to the south; Ralph Avenue to the east (bordering Crown Heights); and as far as East New York Avenue to the south (bordering Brownsville).
The main north-south thoroughfare is Nostrand Avenue, but the main shopping street is Fulton Street, which lies above the main subway line for the area (the A and C trains). Fulton Street runs east-west the length of the neighborhood and intersects high-traffic streets including Bedford Avenue, Nostrand Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue. Bedford-Stuyvesant is actually made up of four neighborhoods: Bedford, Stuyvesant Heights, Ocean Hill and Weeksville.
