This is a fully furnished studio located on the ground floor of a charming 1895 brownstone at 119th Street.
The Studio faces the back of the house, it has 12’ ceilings and a private intercom. You enter the apartment through the dramatic hallway. On your right is an independent toilet and on your left the bathroom with a shower and a sink.
Passing the entrance you will find the open kitchen with an oven, a stove, a closet, a microwave, a coffee maker and a refrigerator with freezing compartment.
It is furnished with a leather Corbusier sofa, side tables, a dining table with 2 chairs. The dining table sits under huge black and white photo art. It faces a metal a lit cabinet containing curios from around the world.
The living room overlooks the backyard garden of the house (quiet but not accessible to the tenants) and is furnished with a double size bed and two bedside tables. It features a ceiling fan and a 42” wall mounted flat screen TV which pivots out from the wall for viewing all over the apartment.
Transportation: 2 and 3 express trains run at 116th Street Station, three blocks from the apartment
Neighborhood: The apartment is located on a historic tree lined street. Supermarkets, pharmacies, banks, and restaurants are nearby like "Cafe Latte'', a coffee shop just steps away. Lenox Avenue, 116th Street and 125th Street are the main streets where most of the amenities are located.
This neighborhood, South of Harlem or SOHA, is historically flavored and upcoming as there are many new developments, commercial and retail space. Close to Marcus Garvey Park, lots of small restaurants and lounge clubs spice up the area as it has gone through a period of revitalization for the last ten years. The world renowned Apollo Theatre, jazz clubs like Billie's Black, the Lenox Lounge, clubs like Harlem Bowling, restaurants like the Native or Red Rooster but also the Settepani Italian Restaurant around the corner give flair to this neighborhood.
